Compass Early Learning and Care Victoria Graduate Program opened its doors to the City of Kawartha Lakes community in 1985 and officially became part of Compass Early Learning and Care in 2009. Located on the east side of Lindsay and attached to IE Weldon Secondary School, we have a great connection to our community and the vast green space that surrounds us.
We welcome children into our program from 6 weeks to 6 years of age and pride ourselves in the relationships we have with children, families and our community. The educators in our program, many of whom have been with us since we opened our doors, understand the importance of the early years and design their time and space for children to offer a rich learning environment and experiences that engage children’s natural curiosities. Through journals, photos, projects and learning stories we engage families in the life of the school. These partnerships with families are a central part of our program.
