Summer Camps

Compass Early Learning & Care offers Summer Camp programming across CKL, Durham Region, Haliburton County, Northumberland County, and Peterborough City & County

Many of our spaces in our summer programs are filled with existing families from our year-round School Age programs however we do have some spaces available to new families, including in our Forest and Nature Programs. More details will become available in Spring 2026.

Information for Summer 2026

Please see the information below about each of the regions where we offer care. Some programs will have spaces for new families, but many of our programs are already full. We invite families to join the waiting list in the case that a space becomes available, as outlined below.

Forest & Nature Programs

Outdoor programs running throughout the summer in the following locations:

  • Dance Nature Sanctuary in Youngs Point
  • St. Martin’s Program in Ennismore
  • Millbrook Program

Peterborough City/County

Our summer camp registrations prioritize families currently attending our before and after school programs. You can apply via OneHSN in the event a space becomes available.

  • Keene/Northern Lights:

Spaces available. Please register on OneHSN or reach out to our Northern Lights program for more information.

  • Apsley:

Our summer program located in Apsley is running this year from June 30th – Aug 22nd , except the two stat holidays. We have very limited spots available at the moment as our as most space was filled with internal families or returning families from prior years. We definitely have some room in August, but July is filling quickly. Families can reach out to Kristeena at for inquires about registrations.

We have a number of excursions we plan on doing including Peterborough Zoo, and a day at Silent Lake Provincial Park, as well as visitors from Zoo to you.

  • Millbrook:

The centre-based program is full for the summer. However, there is still availability in our licensed outdoor program, located on the Millbrook Valley Trails and local community. Pick up and drop off at Millbrook South Cavan School. Hours 8:30 to 4:30. Contact the Millbrook Program for more information.

  • St. Martin’s (Ennismore):

Some spaces still available in Kinder (4-6) and School Age (6-12) programs. Contact St. Martin for more info about the outdoor summer program or get on the OneHSN waiting list.

Durham Region

You can sign up on the waiting list at one of the following programs (please note, not all programs will be offering a summer camp, but we will notify you of any nearby programs):

CKL School Age Programs & Rolling Hills/Grandview Program:

We do not anticipate many spaces being available due to high enrollment of existing families. You can join the waiting list here and we will contact you if this changes: onehsn.com/kawarthalakes

  • Archie Stouffer (Minden):

Spaces will be available, on a first-come-first-served basis from the OneHSN waiting list, beginning in May. Please join the waiting list to express interest or for more information please call 705-854-1123.

Northumberland County

St. Michael (Cobourg) – Spaces are available. Apply through our online waitlist.

Cobourg Program – Join our waitlist and we will contact you if a space becomes available.

Hillcrest (Campbellford) – We do not anticipate any spaces being available due to high enrollment of existing families. You can join the waiting list on Compass website under Northumberland County.
