At Compass Early Learning and Care, we believe it is one child at a time, one moment at a time, one gesture at a time.  Every day we have the opportunity to change the world through the relationships we build, the sense of well being that we nurture, the experiences we offer and the environments that we create.  These four foundational values, developed through a collaborative process with all staff, have been our focus for the past 8 years.  They provide a foundation for reflection, assessment and for intentional planning of our days together.  They have evolved our thinking, stretched our comfort zones and challenged us all to be better educators and better human beings.  Our recent name change has encouraged us to look at our present values and how have our four values have evolved.  The result is seven pedagogical foundations that reflect the practices that are now a part of every day at Compass Early Learning and Care.  Read more about these practices here…
