Compass Early Learning and Care offers 7 unique early learning and child care programs in the City of Kawartha Lakes. All programs are licensed by the Ministry of Education.

This registry provides a list of licensed child care providers in the City of Kawartha Lakes and the County of Haliburton and includes several child care options including:

Lindsay Program
Located in St. Dominic Elementary School, the Lindsay Program offers licensed child care for children 6 weeks to 12 years, along with a fun-filled summer camp for children 6 to 12 years. It operates from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Learn more about the Lindsay Program
Rolling Hills Program
This is a unique, rural program located in Rolling Hills Public School in Bethany. It’s licensed for children 18 months to 12 years and offers before and after school, part day, full day and sporadic care. Learn more about the Rolling Hills Program
Leslie Frost School Age Program
This program is located in Leslie Frost School and offers care for children 3.8 years to 12 years of age before and after school, as well as during school breaks. Grandview School Age Program
A before and after school program, and a satellite of our Rolling Hills location, this program operates daily during the school year and is licensed for JK and SK children. Learn more about the Grandview School Age Program
Jack Callaghan School Age Program

Parkview School Age Program
New Program starting September 2016! This program is located in the Parkview Public School and offers care for children 3.8 to 12 years of age before and after school, as well as during school breaks. Victoria Graduate Program
Compass Early Learning and Care Victoria Graduate Program opened its doors to the City of Kawartha Lakes community in 1985 and officially became part of Compass Early Learning and Care in 2009. This beautiful Centre is located on the east side of Lindsay and attached to IE Weldon High School. We welcome children into our program from 6 weeks to 6 years of age and pride ourselves in the relationships we have with children, families and our community. Home Child Care
Home Child Care, the original foundation of Compass Early Learning and Care, opened in 1981. We contract caring, qualified, self-employed individuals to provide child care in their own homes for up to 5 children aged 6 weeks to 12 years. Home Child Care offers a flexible, intimate service to families with sporadic schedules and working shifts, or who may want a smaller group environment for their children.
